Welcome to Jeff Pulver’s #BrandsConf! (#BrandsConf)

The second #BrandsConf took place on November 9, 2011 at the 92nd Street Y (1395 Lexington Avenue) in New York City.

The event was broadcast live and can be experienced by clicking on the event schedule and by viewing the individually recorded sessions.

#BrandsConf explores the “Humanization of Brands” and the underlying effects this is having on business.

More information about BrandsConf and related events can be found over at: http://StateOfNow.com

Since the birth of the real-time Internet, many businesses around the world offering products and/or services have found themselves establishing a presence on both Facebook and twitter and have been challenged with the task of having to having to have someone (or a team) represent their company and become their online and physical voice for their brands. For many companies this is something both new and challenging.

Brands Are People Too

After watching thousands of brands become alive on twitter, rather than just being an observer of such trends I thought the time was right to invite up to people to come forward and participate in the discussion.

At #BrandsConf you will hear from creative, out-of-the-box thinkers to come forward and pitch us something relevant they would like to discuss from inside the respective worlds of the business segment they are operating in. Brands transcend business sectors and my hope is to have a variety of industries represented at our first event.

In the tradition of the #140Conf events, individual presentations will be 10 minutes long and panels will run 10 to 20 minutes.

The conference will explore a range of topics from best practices to the legal issues to the natural conflict of personal and corporate branding. Plus a wide range of related topics that I hope to hear from the people who come forward to speak at this conference. I’m looking for first-hand accounts of how the humanization of branding is being applied and the impact it is happening in across the business world. My goal is to bring together a great group of Characters to both lead and contribute to the discussions.

The take-aways from this event will provide the attending delegates knowledge, perspectives and insights to the next wave of effects the real-time Internet will have on brands and business.

Relationship between brand and sports betting

The connection between brands and sports betting lies in their shared goal of reaching and engaging with target audiences. By sponsoring sports teams, events, and leagues, brands can increase their visibility among sports fans and potentially attract new customers.

Similarly, sports betting companies join bangbet, sponsor teams and events to increase brand recognition and attract bettors. By partnering with popular sports teams or events, betting companies can leverage the teams' or events' existing fan bases and potentially increase their customer base.

However, it's important to note that responsible gambling should always be encouraged, and betting companies should take steps to promote safe and responsible gambling practices. Additionally, brands should carefully consider their associations with sports betting and ensure that their partnerships align with their values and reputation.

Behind the Brand is a Human Voice

At the receiving end of a brand experience is a connected, broadcast enabled, consumer. Opening your brand, being human, and the art of listen brings about a fundamental shift, and potential re-structuring of we, as marketers bring our brands to market.

#BrandsConf is the twitter hashtag for the event. I would appreciate your help in spreading awareness of this new conference.

What I hope to bring together is a gathering of people with a variety of backgrounds and together explore the future of where things are going and how to best prepare the community at large to get there.
